Happy Birthday TF! Posted by McLindy (2008/8/11)
TigerFight.net came into this world on August 11, 2006.

Here's the text from the "hello world" post:

The new site is up on a new server. There are still bandwidth restrictions, unfortunately. For now it's probably best to upload and/or download big files at night.

I'm very open to suggestions with this theme. I imagined it to be more like Battle Cat from He-man et al but this almost looks like we take ourselves seriously. Anyway it's better than the standard theme. It's very lightly modified (ripped off) from a Turkish Xoops group. I'll edit it more later.

The site theme has changed since then, and I think any discerning visitor can tell we don't take ourselves seriously. Rage on, Battlecat. Rage on.

So happy birthday TigerFight.net, ya crazy bastard!

Spring Cleanin' Posted by McLindy (2007/4/15)
I cleaned up the work area in significant ways, starting with a 22" widescreen LCD monitor. This allowed me to condense my setup and make things way more efficient. This setup is way more recording friendly than before. You just wait.

I picked up a pair of KRK Rokit RP5 moniors courtesy of craigslist, natch. They sound very good, especially for what they cost. It's nice to hear the mixes outside of headphones. All of a sudden th...
  • [2007/2/9] Gadgetry & Whatnot
I picked up a Behringer BCR2000 MIDI controller off of craigslist a couple of days ago. Last night I had a little time to get it working with Sonar. Mmmm. Malto Bene.
  • [2007/1/16] Updated songs from Michael Yates
Michael Yates was back in the basement um, studio yesterday adding some goodies to a couple of tracks we did a few months ago. Check out the remixes in the download section.
  • [2006/12/26] More from SKTP
Series Killed The Player will be back in the "studio" tomorrow. They've been working on two more tracks. I'll get 'em up ASAP.
  • [2006/12/17] DAW Updated
The 'puter is ready for recording. I more than doubled the processor speed and doubled the hard drive transfer speed. Seems pretty groovy so far.
  • [2006/12/6] New Meekrophone
No, it's not a typo. I just picked up a Joe Meek microphone, an M47 I believe (it's downstairs and I'm too lazy to go have another look at it). I have been using Yates' M47 for a while so it's cool ...
  • [2006/11/21] Remix-o-rama
I remixed two songs and reposted them in the download section. The first is $1000 Car and the second is Preacher Ron.
  • [2006/11/19] TigerFight Studios PDX
I hereby decree that henceforth my basement shall be known as TigerFight Studios PDX, not to be confused with our other locations: TigerFight Studios NYC and TigerFight Studios Podunkville or whatever...
